Two homesteads, The Farmhouse and The Cottage, set on a beautiful 52 acre property in one of the most stunning locations in Australia, the scenic and historic Wollombi in the Hunter Valley.
Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay provides quality self-contained accommodation for friends, families or couples, as well as gatherings and groups using both houses.

Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay is conveniently located, approximately one hour's drive from the Wahroonga M1 turn off. The village of Wollombi is just two minutes by car or a beautiful 15 minute walk.
​
Even though the property is located within walking distance to the village, the self-contained accommodation is totally serene and secluded, well away from the main road. Wollombi Brook Family Farm Stay has exquisite views and an abundance of both domestic animals and native wildlife.

ACCOMMODATION
The Farmhouse is ideal for groups and families
​
The Farmhouse has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 in total (16 is possible depending on guests configuration). The huge living area has air-conditioning, an open fire and a large 10 seater dining table. A separate rumpus room has an additional TV including Netflix and xbox.
​
There are four bathrooms, a laundry with washing machine and dryer, and a games room with table tennis table, airhockey and darts. All rooms have reverse cycle air conditioning.
​
There is a fully equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, stove and oven, pots and pans, espresso machine, milk frother, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The TV includes free-to-air, Netflix, Stan, Disney+ and a DVD with a Bose Bluetooth sound system. Linen and towels are also supplied.

The Farm House includes a swimming pool, large trampoline, outdoor fire areas, various outdoor furniture settings, outdoor pizza oven and a gas and charcoal BBQ.

THE COTTAGE
The Cottage is ideal for a family or couples
​
The Cottage has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and sleeps up to 6 in total depending on guests configuration. You will enjoy comfortable living and dining spaces with a large balcony to enjoy the view. There is also a separate TV area with an additional TV including Netflix.
​
There are two bathrooms, a laundry with washing machine and dryer. The Cottage features a dining area, small rumpus area with additional TV, split system reverse cycle air conditioning upstairs and a gas heater in living/dining areas.
​
There is a fully equipped kitchen with kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave, stove and oven, pots and pans, espresso machine, milk frother, cutlery, crockery and glassware. The TV includes, free-to-air, Netflix, Stan, Disney+ and a DVD with a Bose Bluetooth sound system. Linen and towels are also supplied.

There is an outdoor fire pit, outdoor hot tub, outdoor furniture setting, outdoor pizza oven and a gas BBQ.

THINGS TO DO
Farm Animals
We have 5 Black Angus Cows, 4 Alpacas, 2 Miniature Horses, 2 Thoroughbred Horses and 7 Silkie Chickens which love to be fed and made a fuss of. We also have a dam and brook access which has fish ready to be caught. Our care taker is happy to lend a hand if you need assistance or have any questions. Please be advised we do have electric fencing which is clearly marked.

Local Markets
Visit historic Wollombi on the holiday Monday of each long weekend (Easter, June and October) and on Australia Day for this great market of over 100 stalls, including local produce and crafts, plants, clothes, tools, bric-a-brac and much more.

Horse Riding
With over 30 riding members, the Pony Club is an important part of the Wollombi community. The Club meets approximately once a month and holds overnight camps in school holidays. The emphasis is on having fun and socialising.
Tennis
Grab your racquet and take advantage of Wollombi’s beautiful evenings with a game of tennis or a simple relax on the deck. Bring a friend or make it a family get together.

Cancellation Policy
When guests book with us we have adopted a COVID-19 policy where we will refund 100% of deposits/payments made if the State or Federal Government imposes a no travel or holiday ban. If you change your mind however we have the following cancellation policy;

Cancellation at least 30 days before check-in will forfeit 20% deposit but will not be obliged to pay remaining balance. If cancelled 7 days before check-in, will forfeit 100% of the rate paid if the property cannot be let otherwise. Every effort will be made to re-book the house. If property can be re-booked 100% will be refunded.
